We recommend that you take C60 using a spoon or a syringe and take between 5ml and 7ml daily. You can take C60 on its own or with food, try it in your favourite shake or smoothie.

A suggested daily dose of between 5ml and 7ml but use our C60 calculator if you want a more accurate dose based on your weight. You can take a higher or lower dose if you wish and alternate the days you take it too.

If you want to see faster results we suggest Loading Up. This accelerates the effects of taking C60 by saturating your body with C60 for a short period to quickly reduce the levels of free radicals.

We recommend a loading up dose of;

  • 20ml for 5 days
  • 15ml for 5 days
  • 10ml for 5 days
  • 5ml to 7ml ongoing

As a precaution before you start on a high dose, try taking half a teaspoon of C60 oil for a few days to make sure it does not have a laxative effect.

Taking C60 with food or without food is a personal choice and depends on whether you like the taste of the oil and if it helps you digest the oil. But there is no need to take C60 with food.

C60 dissolved in oil tastes of the oil. Some oils have a very mild flavour like MCT coconut. Others like black seed oil have a strong distinctive flavour. All our oils are a great supplement to your diet and contain a range of antioxidants, vitamins, and essential fatty acids.

Taking C60 olive oil with Kefir

Kefir is a type of fermented milk that has a taste similar to plain natural yogurt. So this a good choice to tone down the oil’s taste and have extra benefits as well.

Firstly, it’s the number of beneficial bacteria and yeast found in kefir that supplement your own gut flora that makes it such a great drink. Most commercially available probiotic drinks only contain 2 or 3 different strains of bacteria while kefir has over 20 different species of bacteria and yeast.

Secondly, the organic extra virgin olive oil we dissolve the C60 in contains polyphenols, which are a fantastic antioxidant, but that’s only part of the reason. One of these polyphenols, oleuropein, is converted by bacteria in kefir to hydroxytyrosol.

Research shows that hydroxytyrosol has both antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects in the body and protects low-density lipoproteins from oxidation which are reported as being a significant factor in reducing heart disease and other diseases.

We have read accounts of people increasing the levels of hydroxytyrosol in the olive oil containing C60 and experiencing boosts in performance and we think that deserves further research.

If you have a problem with cow’s milk, this could be due to lactose intolerance. A surprisingly high percentage of the population suffer varying degrees of lactose intolerance. Kefir already has a lot of the lactose broken down into glucose and galactose which are more easily metabolised. In fact, some commercially available kefirs are advertised as being up to 99% lactose-free.

However, if you’d prefer not to use cow’s milk you can buy kefir made from coconut milk and almond milk or you can make it yourself from other forms of milk.

Experiment for yourself and enjoy all the health benefits of C60 and kefir.
